OUR MISSION AND VISION:
Catholic schools are known for high moral discipline and academic excellence. It is along this line that Our Lady of Mount Carmel Girls' college, Emekuku was conceived and established to achieve the vision of our foundation as regards the training of our young girls, many schools were established; among them is Mount Carmel Girls. This great college were established in the year 1942 and as one of the unique Catholic institutions, its sole goal is to promote and facilitate integral formation of young Nigerian girls. Therefore, the school has mission to produce young ladies who are morally upright, academically sound, socio-culturally balanced and deeply rooted in God. We are proud to say that our girls are groomed in holiness, graciousness, excellence, hard work, diligence, charity, firmness of character and decorum, compassion and above all integrity. It is a school that pride herself among all other schools in Nigeria and beyond.
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS:
Today, to the glory of God, we can boldly say that we have made a tremendous improvement in a lot of areas in this great citadel of learning. Our old girls have done marvels in renovating our laboratory and four extension classrooms, our gate, installation of solar light in some strategic places, provision of one big deep freezer, scholarship award provision of white boards, renovation of one of our hostel structures by Archdiocesan Education Commission, ensuring steady water and power supply and the great repairs done in our administrative block by the school management etc.

ACADEMIC:
The academic excellence of our students is the priority of the management and the teachers hence, the 100%pass including English Language and Mathematics secured in the WAEC Exam of this year. our learning environment is very conducive. You will agree with me that a conducive environment contributes greatly to a positive learning process. Our tutorial staff are professionals in their various areas of specialization. We constantly teach our students to imbibe the virtue of hard work and personal sacrifice.
Morally, our students are doing their best especially in today's society where immorality and various social vices are on the increase. We are doing everything humanly possible to make sure that our students stand out Character wise. To achieve our goal in raising our student where morally discipline, we organize catechism classes to prepare them for holy communion and conformation. We prepare them to live a life with what we profess.
Social Activity: in other to harmonize and prepare well balanced students, our students are exposed to extra- curricular activities. A sports club official has been coming on Wednesdays and Saturdays to drill them on volley ball skills since last year.
We remain grateful to God for all this achievement and pray that he continues to lead us to make beyond the sky.

We remain incepted to our Archdiocesan Education Commission Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Uche Nwachukwu (PHD)and his Assistant Rev. Fr. David Nwankwo for their continued support and directions.
Many thanks to our parish priest and the Regional Vicar, Emekuku Zone I, Rev. FR. Stephen Chimaobi Egwin and our school chaplain, Rev. FR. Emmanuel Chimaobi Ajoku for their spiritual guidance and maximum co-operation.
We doff our caps to you our competent seasoned teachers and our efficient non-academic staff for being part of this formation process.
We remain ever grateful to you our beloved parents for believing so much in us and entrusting your children/wards to our care. Your role has been instrumental in the molding and shaping of these young ladies, our future hopes. Your maximum co-operation and solidarity are very highly appreciated.
